Nondiscrimination Notice

Discrimination is against the law. The Community Dreams Alliance (CDA) complies with applicable civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex. CDA does not exclude people or treat them differently because of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex.

CDA operates its programs, services, and activities in accordance with federal civil rights laws, including but not limited to:

  • Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination based on race, color, and national origin.
  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which prohibits discrimination based on disability.
  • Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities.
  • The Age Discrimination Act of 1975, which prohibits discrimination based on age.
  • Executive Order 13166, which ensures access for individuals with limited English proficiency.

How to File a Complaint

If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination in a program, service, or activity of CDA, you have the right to file a complaint with the designated Civil Rights Coordinator. Complaints must be filed within 180 days of the alleged discriminatory act. You can file a complaint via email or phone.
